LU340 Apprentice Represents Sacramento at This Year’s Western States Electrical Contest

Each year, locals from across the western U.S. send participants to compete in the Western States Electrical Contest, a one-day grueling test of skill and knowledge. This year’s representative was Cody Balzan, a recent graduate who has consistently risen above expectations throughout his time as an apprentice.

“Cody did a fantastic job,” says Jake Smith, fifth-year instructor. “Despite the tough competition, he put his best foot forward and really killed it. He represented Local 340 proudly and I couldn’t be prouder of the job he did.”
